Situated next to Mall of Asia, one iconic hotel really stood out because of its ship-like structure which was inspired by the impressive vessels that traverse the bay. At the top of S Maison mall, a high-end retail complex on the edge of Manila Bay, the visually noticeable Conrad Manila offers a peaceful haven from the hustle and bustle of Makati. About 18 minutes away from the airport via the NAIA expressway, you will enjoy easy access to a variety of shopping, dining, recreation and local attractions. The hotel has been recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council as LEED gold-certified and is a proud recipient of the 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award.
Conrad Manila’s stunning architecture makes strong connections to the immediate waters in front, and the skyline of Makati’s Central Business District behind the hotel.

I’ve learned a lot at our site inspection. When you are planning an event, one of the most important things, after you’ve developed your event plan and before you sign a contract, is to conduct a site inspection. Whether you are running a one day event in one location or a 3 day destination program across a number of venues, a site inspection will allow you to experience everything first hand rather than relying on photos, emails, and marketing paraphernalia to make a decision. Your guests will have a better experience, your program will be more successful and you’ll get to have that rest and calm mind knowing you’ve done your due diligence.
The cost of not pushing for a site inspection can be far greater than the cost of having one. For local events you’re simply stepping out of the office for a couple of hours; for longer destination programs you might be out of the office for days and there will be some costs associated with travel but if you negotiate well then you should be able to arrange some complimentary accommodation, activities, and meals to keep these costs down. It is really hard and time-consuming to work in events industry but when you have a passion for something, witnessing to see people sign up for events assigned to you, you will have a great time and you will always want more, as you will learn more, and that’s an incredible feeling. I’ve been with many, many events since I started to chose to develop my passion for writing, but still, every event is like the first one and I still get a buzz seeing guests have fun, and come back with their friends, colleagues, and go home full of joy and learning. It really changed my life, widen my perspectives, and make me feel more alive, inspired, well balanced, and sensible.
Conrad Manila boasts some of the best views of Manila Bay and China Blue is no one of it. Floor to ceiling windows give you a momentary view of the MOA eye and the bay in the distance. After the site inspection, my boss and our client treat us for a sumptuous meal at China Blue.
The interiors sets the tone for what to expect from China Blue’s Menu.
China Blue has several function rooms of varying sizes, making it an ideal place to hold family gatherings, meetings, etc, subject of course to availability. It offers a modern interpretation of traditional Chinese cuisine, delicately crafted by renowned celebrity master chef Jereme Leung.
Indeed, the prices are definitely on the higher side making my jaw dropped haha, but it would have been silly to think anything less from a high end establishment such as Conrad Hotel Manila. Luckily, bills are to be paid by my boss. Yes, the price is high but when you get a taste of the freshness of the ingredients, as well as an understanding of the training that went into turning these team of cooks into a team with will and commitment to each other in order to replicate Chef Jeremy’s complicated and detailed techniques, coupled with the lavish decors, then the price is really worth it.
China Blue by Jereme Leung excites the senses with glittering blue chandeliers as the focal point in the main dining area, floor-to-ceiling glass windows with views of the Manila Bay in the horizon, and private dining rooms that can accommodate from eight to 18 guests – ideal for business lunches, special occasions and celebrations.

We also get to chill at the C Lounge which I think is designed in such a way various personality types will be comfortable. You’ll not find any partitions that separates the place, but you’ll just really know when you see them yourself. There’s a tea section, entertainment section, and the bar section.
C Lounge is a place to just relax and unwind as you sip a drink or two as you talk about business or just simply hangout with your lover or even your friends. Its homey ambiance and sophistication feel plus the amazing view of the bay will set your mood on being productive.
